  This place is great. Don't forget the beans, fries and yuca.

  They take cash and credit cards; you pay 30 cents more for a CC transaction. It will show up as Pollo Rico on your statement because there was a dispute over who had the name first. So the business is still incorporated as Pollo Rico but is known as Pollo Wow! , certainly the most imaginative name for a rotisserie chicken place I've seen.

  Senor Chicken at Takoma-Langley Crossroads also is very good--it's in the top-left quadrant of the NH-University intersection if you're coming from Takoma. So, take a left at University and then a right into the shopping center with Chandni Chowk; Senor Chicken is on the other end, next to the copy/fax place.

  You also can go straight and take a left into the shopping center parking lot.

  And I would be quite remiss if I didn't mention Los Pollos in the strip shops across from Shoppers on New Hampshire. Mario, who runs the place, is a great guy and his chicken is good, and inexpensive. He also has a much more extensive menu than the other places -- salads, omelets, etc. Big-screen TV is usually tuned to soccer. It's a good bet that one or both of the teams feature a Peruvian player.
