Charkoudian will be running against another newcomer, Tim Male.
On the heels of Tim Male's announcement for his bid to take over the Takoma Park Ward 2 council seat, Lorig Charkoudian announced through a local listserv that she would seek the seat as well. Charkoudian has spent the last 16 years of her private working professionally life in dispute resolution and has a Ph.D. in economics.
