A 22-year-old man from Landover died of gunshot wounds outside of an apartment near Briggs Chaney Road, police said.
Christopher Davon White, 22, of Landover, has been identified as the shooting victim Montgomery County Police found dead Monday outside of an apartment on Castle Boulevard in the Briggs Chaney neighborhood of Silver Spring. White's death was ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to police. An autopsy revealed that he died of gunshot wounds. Two men found dead in Silver Spring, possibly from gunshot wounds, in just four days prompted a special meeting with Montgomery County Police's 3rd District leader. Last Friday, 21-year-old Jesse Campos was shot dead in his White Oak apartment. Police said an investigation revealed that two suspects tried to get into the residence by forcing a roommate to open the door.
