Update, Sept. 21: Alvaro Carreto was located in Virginia safe and unharmed, according to a police media release. Montgomery County Police gave special thanks to listservs, the media and the community for helping to being awareness to his disappearance. Orginal post, Sept. 20, 9:59 a.m.: Montgomery County detectives are asking the public for their help to locate Alvaro Carreto, 25, who was last seen Sept. 15. After Carreto went missing from his home on the 8600 block of Piney Branch Road, his cousin tried to call his cellphone on the same evening but was unsuccessful.
