Pet Food Recalled After Potential Salmonella Contamination

Living Ruff is offering a credit for affected pet food.

Living Ruff, a Silver Spring-based pet store, sent out an advisory for a pet food recall Sunday. The advisory warns pet owners about a voluntary food recall from Diamond Pet Foods (DPF) between Dec. 9, 2011 and April 7, 2012 because of a possible salmonella contamination. Only pet food produced in their South Carolina plant is affected by this recall, according to the advisory.
