Man Exposes Himself to Takoma Park Woman

The incident occurred on Carroll Avenue.

A man exposed himself Saturday night to a woman jogging in Takoma Park. Around 8:45 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to Carroll Avenue at Garland Avenue for a report of indecent exposure, police said. While the victim was jogging on Carroll Avenue, a man walked in her direction and exposed himself to her, police said.   The man walked away and went left on Garland Avenue.  Officers canvassed the area but found nothing. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7 and 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green ball cap, faded red t-shirt and blue jeans, police said. Investigation continues under case #12030769.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 301.270.1100.

UPDATE: Man Exposes Penis to 12-year-old Girl at Bus Stop

The girl also saw the man near the bus stop on Sept. 15 and 16.

Update Oct. 18, 3:50 p.m.: Takoma Park Police released a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle. The suspect is described as a very light skinned Hispanic male with thin lips. He has a shaved head (buzz cut), slight mustache, and some facial hair below the chin that is not a full beard (styled very short). He is approximately 5-foot-7, 150 to 165 pounds and in his 30’s. He was wearing a dark blue sweater with a hood attached at the time of the incident, police said. The sweater had a circle in the center of it with some unknown script in the middle of the circle. The blue jeans were a light shade of blue. The vehicle is a yellow two door sports vehicle similar to a 2010 Chevy Camero. The vehicle has translucent tinted windows…

All too typical of the new Takoma Park. Whatever happened to the Takoma Park that I grew up in ----- during the 1970s. Place has gone down hill ever since. These new residents have no respect for our laws. Law abiding citizens pay the price. Thank our elected leaders for this fine mess.   more ›
