More than 30 artists will offer unique holiday gifts at the Takoma Park Community Center.
Looking for something a little different this year for that person who seems to already have everything? Your quest very well may come to an end this Saturday, Dec. 10, as the 6th Annual Holiday Art Sale will sets up shop at the Takoma Park Community Center. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., gift-seekers can peruse and purchase from a selection of items including wearable art, glass work, pottery, paper good, prints, paintings and photography from more than 30 artists. The Holiday Art Sale is a family-friendly event, and will have art activities for the kids.

Any idea where books/magazines can be dropped? I feel like it's a common one, and from what I've heard from veteran friends, a welcome one. I can't find anywhere, though.   more ›
