State Highway Administration Begins MD 410 Resurfacing in Takoma Park

Daytime and overnight lane closures are expected through fall.

The Maryland State Highway Administration released the following on Wednesday: Beginning today, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will begin a project to resurface MD 410 (East West Highway) from Park Avenue to MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) in Takoma Park, Montgomery County. Weather permitting, the project should be complete by late summer.  In addition to improving the ride quality of MD 410, SHA will upgrade curb ramps, driveways and sidewalks for Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, replace curb and gutter and apply new pavement markings along the one-mile project route.
