Golfing for the Library: A Q&A with Steve DuBos

Charity golf tournament co-commissioner Steve DuBos speaks with Patch about the Rumors Golf Tournament, which benefits the Takoma Park Library.

For the past nine years, the RedGate Golf Course in Rockville has hosted the Rumors Golf Tournament, a charity event memorializing former Takoma Park resident Mike Morrissey. Proceeds from the tournament are donated to the Takoma Park Library. Since the tournament began, more than $40,000 have been donated to the library in Morrissey's memory. The ninth annual event took place on Monday. Tournament co-commissioner Steve DuBos hopes to raise an additional $4,000 from the 2010 proceedings.   Takoma Park Patch: Tell us about the history of this tournament.
