Weather Alert for Montgomery County

The National Weather Service says to expect thunderstorms off and on Sunday night through Wednesday.

Mongtomery County is under a hazardous weather outlook that calls for the chance of damaging winds and hail at times, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday evening scattered thunderstorms are expected; a few thunderstorms may become severe with locally damaging wind gusts being the primary threat. Northwest central and southeast Montgomery County is included in the alert.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected Monday and Tuesday. A few thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours may become severe with locally damaging wind gusts and large hail being the primary threats.

Tuesday night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
