Native Americans have been an important part of the Olympic Games over the years. From Jim Thorpe to Billy Mills, Native Americans have broken racial boundaries and won gold in the world's greatest competitions.
The National Museum of the American Indian partnered with the White House on a Let's Move Olympic Fun Day initiative to get kids moving while learning the history of Native Americans in the Olympic Games on Saturday.
Check out our photos from the event.
Children also had the chance to participate in a Let's Move scavenger hunt Saturday in the Enid A. Haupt Garden behind the Smithsonian Castle.
