For the first time in five years, the Baltimore Ravens have a home playoff game.
After securing the AFC North Division title and a first round bye, the Charm City squad hosts the AFC South Division champion Houston Texans at 1 p.m.
The Texans defeated the Cincinnati Bengals -- a division rival for the Ravens -- 31-10 during last week's Wild Card round.
In support of the home team, Maryland governor Martin O'Malley wished the Ravens good luck and and encouraged all state employees to wear purple Friday, Jan. 13.
"We are extremely excited to celebrate the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff run for four years in a row,” said Governor O’Malley according to a press release. “Purple fever has taken over our communities and we are looking forward to celebrating the Ravens’ continued success in the playoffs as they go on to claim the Vince Lombardi Trophy."
