The Best of Winter Sports So Far

Halfway through the high school basketball season, here are the top moments so far:

1.
 The Blazers' second game of the year came down the last shot, a buzzer beater by Johanna Lopez.

2.  
Blair Coach Mark Destefano's father, Al Destefano, was the coach at Kennedy for many years. This year, they honored the late coach with a tournament in his name. The Blazers of the holiday affair.

3.
Lopez scored 33 of her team's 58 points in the come-from-behind win.

4.
The first half has been tough for the Blair boys (3-8), but their win over Richard Montgomery proved they do have the fire power when all the pieces are put together.

5.
At just 14-years-old, Erica Adarkwa made the Blair varsity basketball team. She spoke with Patch's Gabe Pinkney about the year so far.
