TPMS Starry Stories Accepted Into Arizona Festival

The 32-minute StarryTelling audio program originally premiered at the Einstein Planetarium in 2010.

Five Takoma Park Middle School students will have their stories of the night sky told at the Night Visions IV Festival in Flagstaff, AZ.

The 32-minute StarryTelling audio program, running Sept. 27 to Nov. 2, will feature stories inspired by the night sky written and narrated by the TPMS students.

The stories selected from TPMS were:

  • Harper Kaufman: Something out of Nothing
  • Sabrina Bradford: A Love Story or Phases of the Moon
  • Emma Rose Borsakowski: The Closet or the First Mistake
  • Lily Durkee: The Stars and I
  • Delaney Ryan: Creation of the Universe


The project originated in November of 2009 when Giraffe 'n' Ant Productions asked Takoma Park Middle School students, who were members of the creative writing group, to write their own sky lore that was to be included in a planetarium show at the Einstein Planetarium at the National Air and Space Museum.
