Girls Take Charge Leadership Day

Girls Take Charge, a national award winning leadership and life skills development program, is coming to George Mason University on October 13th from 10am-3:30pm.

Calling all girls in grades 7-12 to participate in this hands-on and engaging day! Girls will learn from current community women leaders and college student leaders as well as interact with fellow girls in sessions throughout the day.

Girls Take Charge participants will have the chance to learn key leadership and life skills that they can use during the school year and beyond. Participants will be grouped by age so they can also learn best from each other. Girls will rotate through several sessions focused on topics such as the importance of decision making and positive risk taking!
