Ward Two Night to Be Held Monday

You know it's summer when the city and county council agendas start to thin out. This Monday's TakomaPark City Council meeting only has two agenda items. But that doesn't mean it isn't an important meeting to attend or watch via city TV.

First up, it's Ward 2 night Monday night at 7pm in the Takoma Park auditorium. Throughout the year the city council invites residents from each ward to voice any concerns they have. Colleen Clay (Ward 2) and the rest of the council will be there with open ears to hear what Clay's constituents have to say.

The meeting will also feature a legislative update. The council will be updated on matters concerning the state legislature, including the District 20 delegation.
