Every Monday at 7:30 p.m. like clockwork, unless it's a holiday, the Takoma Park City Council meets to discuss the matters that affect residents of Takoma Park.

There are always a group of stalwarts that come out and voice their opinion or even just listen. To them, it's their civic duty to hold the council accountable and ensure the city is shaped the way they feel is right.
