NWS Issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 8 p.m.
The storm could produce large hail.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Montgomery County until 8 p.m. Friday. The storms could include heavy rain, damaging winds and very large hail, NWS said.
Lighting is the number one severe weather killer in the U.S., NWS warned, so those with outdoor plans should monitor skies and be prepared to seek safe shelter indoors.
