Mizeur Talks About Fracking on Diane Rehm Show

The delegate sponsored a bill last year to put a hold on fracking in the state.

Del. Heather Mizeur (D-Dist. 20) was a first-time caller today on the Diane Rehm Show on WAMU. Mizeur talked about the growing concerns over fracking. Check out her call at 29:46.

Mizeur was the sponsor of a bill last session that asked Maryland to take a closer look at whether fracking was safe, before awarding contracts. The bill didn't pass before the close of the session, but Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) issued an executive order that gives the state three years to review the natural gas drilling process.
