Mizeur Raises 100k in 2011
A local politics website says Mizeur might be eyeing a Maryland Comptroller run.
Delegate Heather Mizeur (D-Dist. 18, Takoma Park) raised almost $100,000 in 2011.
As of January 2011, Mizeur had raised $166,424, but now the Delegate, who is the Vice Chair of Education and Economic Development for the Appropriations Committee, has $247,537 in her coffers, according to a news release by Mizeur.
Maryland political website Maryland Juice thinks Mizeur is gearing up for a run at the Comptroller seat Peter Franchot (D, Takoma Park) will vacate in 2014. Mizeur has not commented on whether she'll run or not.
