Hudson River Plane Makes Way Back to Charlotte Through Maryland

The plane will finally reach its destination.

Eighteen months ago Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger famously landed a plane in the Hudson River. Now the fuselage from that plane is finally making its way to its original destination.

to Charlotte, NC. After the plane arrives, there will be a gathering of more than 300 people, and Sullenberger will be the keynote speaker.

The plane will be traveling through Maryland on its way to Charlotte. It's not clear what route it will take or when it will arrive, but as of Monday morning, the plane was at the foot of the Delaware Memorial Bridge in New Jersey.
