Flower Ave Annexation and Environmental Report To Be Discussed At Council Meeting

Staff recommendations for Environmental Action Report to be made.

This week's Takoma Park City Council meeting won't center around the whether the city , but it will have deal, at least preliminarily, with the annexation of Flower Ave, which the city seeks to decouple from the State Highway Administration deal involving 410. The council will vote on a resolution to have a public hearing on whether residents want to take over responsibility of Flower Avenue from the state.

At the end of the meeting there will be staff comments on the Task Force on Environmental Action Report and the council will discuss recommendations.

Council will also vote on whether to approve a PILOT agreement with the Parkview Towers owned by the Montgomery Housing Partnership.
