Flood Watch In Effect Until 7 p.m.

Watch out when driving through flooded areas.

The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Montgomery County until 7 p.m.

Parts of the county could see one to two inches of rainfall this afternoon. Isolated areas of heavier rainfall are possible. The rain may cause flooding in creeks, small streams and roads with poor drainage, NWS said.

Do not drive through flooded areas. As little as 2 feet of water can sweep a vehicle off the road. Please remain alert for any warnings.
