Washington Adventist Apologies for Discrimination Miscommunication

A woman was not allowed to see her partner after being admitted to Washington Adventist hospital.

A Takoma Park woman was not allowed to visit her same-sex partner at Washington Adventist Hospital after her parter was admitted for having a seizure, according to a report in The Washington Post.

Kathryn Wilderotter crashed her car Nov. 13, 2011 after an epileptic seizure and Linda Cole, her partner of 11 years was denied access when she tried to visit, according to the Washington Post report.

The hospital said the incident was simply a matter of poor communication.
