Two Cars Burglarized Sunday in Takoma Park

In both instances windows were smashed.

Two cars were broken into and items were stolen Sunday morning according to Takoma Park Police.

The first occurred in the 1000 block of Elm Avenue before 5:30 a.m. The suspects broke the driver's side window of the vehicle to get in and stole property from the owner of the car.

The second theft occured in the 800 block of Larch Avenue before 7:40 a.m. Sunday. The suspects in that theft smashed the rear window of car to gain access and steal property.

For the Elm Avenue theft, the investigation continues under case #12029644.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 301.270.1100.
