Takoma Park Sees Rash of Gasoline Thefts
Suspects are stealing gas from cars overnight.
Takoma Park Police are investigating a unique rash of thefts.
Over the last month, there have been multiple reports of gasoline being taken from vehicles in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Ave., police said.
The suspects are stealing gasoline by using a drill to puncture the vehicle gas tank and then draining the fuel. The thefts have occurred overnight. There is no suspect information.
