Takoma Park Police Seeking Dispatcher Applicants

Takoma Park Police are looking to fill a full time police dispatcher position. The dispatcher would receive emergency and non-emergency requests for police assistance, determine the nature and urgency of calls, initiate police or other emergency personnel action and maintaine contact with field units to monitor response and needed support.

Duties include working rotating 12 hours shifts, weekends and holidays. The starting pay is $18.63 an hour.
