Takoma Park Police Make Large Heroin Bust

Police found almost 300 grams of heroin.

Takoma Park Police made one of the largest drug arrests in city history Wednesday when it confiscated 287.7 grams of heroin.

Aaron Lee Feazell, 34 and Shamika Nicole Withers, 29 both of Washington D.C. were arrested and charged with possession of a deadly weapon, possession with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine.

On July 11 around 1:50 p.m. in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Ave, Takoma Park Police responded to a call for failure to vacate the property and threats of assault. Police saw Feazell armed with a knife and he was immediately taken into custody, police said.

Upon further investigation, Withers revealed that three small children were located alone in their hotel room. A consent to search was granted and inside the hotel room, 153.5 grams of heroin were located. Both subjects were then placed under arrest and transported to the Central Processing Unit, police said.

Then, on July 12, police searched the suspect's car and found anouth 134.2 grams of heroin and 35 grams of crack cocaine, police said.
