  • 7000 block of Carroll Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s apartment by unknown means and stole property.
  • 6500 block of Highland Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 1:07 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) pried open a rear kitchen door to gain entry. No property was taken.
  • 300 block of Elm Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 1:22 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry by breaking a rear glass door window. Property was taken.

  • 6900 block of Carroll Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 3:34 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s purse while it was left unattended in an office.
  • 7500 block of Holly Avenue on Friday, Sept. 9, at 10:29 a.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into an unlocked vehicle and stole property.
  • Unit block of Hodges Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1:07 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to an unlocked vehicle and stole property.

Auto Theft

  • 500 block of Albany Avenue on Friday, Sept. 2, at 1:18 p.m. officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) used unknown means to steal a dark blue 2002 Dodge Caravan as it was parked on the street. The vehicle was later recovered in Washington D.C., with arrest made.

  • 600 block of Houston Avenue on Monday, Sept. 12, at 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) used a key to gain entry into an apartment. Property was taken.
  • Unit block of Jefferson Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 2:12 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry by breaking a door window. Property was taken.

Assault

  • 8600 block of Flower Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 3:26 p.m., officers responded to an assault in progress. A female, 27, was arrested for assaulting a male victim during an argument.
  • 7700 block of Maple Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2:01 p.m., officers responded to an assault in progress. A male and female assaulted each other during an argument. No arrests made.
  • 600 block of Ritchie Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9:27 p.m., officers responded to an assault in progress. Unknown male suspects approached the male victim as he walked along the sidewalk. The suspects assaulted the victim causing minor injuries and fled in an unknown direction. No property was taken.

Larceny

  • 300 block of Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 5:48 p.m., officers responded to a larceny that occurred earlier. A known suspect stole the victim’s wallet as the victim was sleeping.
  • 7600 block of Carroll Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 5:25 p.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. A male suspect stole an unsecured bicycle from the victims driveway.
  • 200 block of Domer Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a theft in progress. Two males, 23 and 55, were arrested after attempting to load stolen property onto their truck.

Auto Theft

  • 300 block of Boyd Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 11:13 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) stole a white 2006 Honda Scooter while it was parked unsecured in the front yard.

Assault

  • 1100 block of University Boulevard on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 6:08 p.m., officers responded to an assault in progress. A male suspect punched a male victim causing minor injuries during an altercation at a business. The suspect was detained and sent to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

Residential Burglary

  • 6900 block of Woodland Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 6:43 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry though an unlocked window and stole property.
  • 500 block of Elm Avenue on Friday, Sept. 9, at 7:17 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into the residence by removing a window screen, but were unsuccessful. No property taken.
  • 7800 block of Lockney Avenue on Monday, Sept. 12, at 9:11 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim’s apartment by unknown means and stole property.

Larceny

  • 7000 block of Aspen Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 3:53 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) removed a lawnmower from an unlocked shed.
  • 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 9:38 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole a rear license plate tag from a vehicle while it was parked on the street.
  • 1300 block of University Boulevard on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 2:56 a.m., officers responded to a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) entered a convenience store, removed items from the shelves, and left without paying.
  • 7200 block of 13th Place on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 3:45 p.m., officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) made entry into the vehicle by unknown means and stole property.

  • 600 block of Houston Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 12:05 a.m., a male, 22, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • 600 block of Houston Avenue on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 9:17 p.m., a male, 18, was arrested for underage consumption and having an open container in public.
  • Intersection of Holton Lane and New Hampshire Avenue on Monday, September 5 at 2:58 a.m., a male, 32, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
  • 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 1:57 p.m., a female, 32, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • 6700 block of Cockerille Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8:02 p.m., a male 22 was arrested for possession of marijuana.
  • 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 1:00 p.m., a male, 38, was arrested for having an open container in public.
  • 7700 block of Carroll Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 2:47 a.m., a male, 27, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
  • 8300 block of Roanoke Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 11:36 p.m., a male, 29, was arrested for possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct.
