T1 Beat:

Auto Theft

6600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Friday, August 26 at 6:39 p.m., officers responded to an auto theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) stole a black 1985 Honda scooter from a repair shop while it was parked in the lot.

T2 Beat:

Burglary Commercial

7600 blk. of Maple Ave., on Sunday, August 28 at 4:38 a.m., officers responded to a burglary that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) broke a front door window to gain entry into the business. Property was taken.

Burglary Residential

8000 blk. of Roanoke Ave., on Sunday, August 28 at 2:55 p.m., officers responded to a burglary that occurred overnight. The female victim advised that she awoke to a male suspect who had entered her unlocked residence. The suspect fled when the victim noticed the suspect. No property was taken.

T3 Beat:

Assault

Intersection of Prince Georges Ave. and Elm Ave., on Monday, August 29 at 8:28 p.m., officers responded to an assault that just occurred. A male victim was driving down Prince Georges Ave., when he encountered several juveniles walking in the street. The victim honked his horn and asked the juveniles for the right of way. Three male juveniles approached the car and assaulted the victim. One of the males brandished a handgun and threatened the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim had no sign of injury and no property was taken.

Larceny from Auto

7400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Thursday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a theft from auto that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) broke the vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

Arrests:

7500 blk. of Piney Branch Rd., on Monday, August 29 at 1:01 a.m., a male 35 was arrested for driving without a license.

Intersection of Lee Ave., and Maple Ave., on Friday, August 26 at 1:14 p.m., a male 20 was arrested for having an open warrant for violation of parole.

600 blk. of Hudson Dr., on Thursday, September 1 at 1:15 a.m., a male 26 was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Unit block of Lee Ave., on Friday, August 26 at 1:15 p.m., a male 20 was arrested for having an open warrant on violation of probation.
