Shots were fired on Carroll Avenue near Lincoln Avenue Friday night, according to Takoma Park Police.
Around 8:15 p.m. police responded to the 7300 block of Carroll Ave. where officers spoke to two people who saw a male of unknown race fire two shots from a handgun.
The suspect fled in a small hatchback-type Impreza vehicle, and made a right-hand turn and fled southbound on Carroll Avenue towards Ethan Allen Avenue, police said.

Police did not find the suspect after a canvas of the area.
