Resident Finds Burglars in Her Home

Two men fled when the homeowner walked in on them.

A Takoma Park resident came home Monday afternoon to find two burglars in her home in the 7500 block of Central Avenue, city police said.

Two males entered through an unlocked rear door. When the victim arrived home, one jumped off the roof and into a flowerbed and the second fled out the back door and climbed over the rear fence. No property was taken, police said.

One of the suspects was identified as a Hispanic man round 25 years old with a muscular build and short, black curly hair. He was last seen wearing gray mesh shorts, white shoes, a white T-shirt and black gloves, police said. The other man, whose race was not reported, was of the same age and build and was last seen wearing beige cargo shorts and a white T-shirt.
