Police to Hold Crime Stat Meeting

Chief Ronald A. Ricucci and Crime Analyst Andrew Gucciardo, will be holding a public CompStat meeting on Jan. 24.

If you want to know the crime stats in Takoma Park, Chief Ronald A. Ricucci and Crime Analyst Andrew Gucciardo, will be holding a public CompStat meeting
on Jan. 24 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Takoma Park Auditorium.

CompStat is short for Computer Statistics and is a multilayered approach to
crime reduction, quality of life improvement and personnel and resource
management, according to police.

CompStat uses Geographic Information Systems and is intended to map crime and identify problems.
