Update: Lost Dog Returned to Owner

Update 1:15 p.m.: The owner has been found and the dog has been returned, Takoma Park Police said.

Original story: Takoma Park Police found a male black and brown dog with white highlights at Hancock Avenue and Grant Avenue.

Attempts to contact the owner's number on the dog collar have been unsuccessful, police said.

On the collar is the word "Jibbah."
