Overall Crime Down Through August Compared to 2010

Crime in Takoma Park is down compared to the same time last year, according to police statistics.

Rape and auto theft were the only two categories that were up from last year.

Robberies were less by almost half from last year. And despite , there have been 10 fewer this year than last.
