Overall Crime Down, Burglaries Up in 2011 Through First Quarter
There were six more burglaries from January to March in 2011 than in 2010.
Overall crime was down from January to March compared to the same period in 2010, but burglaries are up over the three months.
There were 121 crimes committed in 2011 through March in the categories of homicide, robbery, burglary, larceny, aggravated assault, rape and auto theft. In 2010 during the same time there were 147 crimes committed in those categories.
There were six more burglaries in 2011 than during the same period in 2010.

- Burglaries - 31 in 2011/25 in 2010
- Homicide - 0 in 2011/0 in 2010
- Rape - 1 in 2011/0 in 2010
- Robbery - 8 in 2011/9 in 2010
- Agg. Assault - 7 in 2011/10 in 2010
- Larceny - 54 in 2011/89 in 2010
- Auto Theft - 20 in 2011/14 in 2010
