New Hampshire Ave Sees Another Theft from Auto

Since Jan. 31 there have been eleven incidents at two gas stations on New Hampshire Avenue on the border of Takoma Park.

Just four days after of the New Hampshire Avenue corridor that leads into Washington, D.C. another theft from auto at the Sunoco gas station was reported.

On May 9 around 8:24 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded for a theft from auto that occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue.  The victim was pumping gas when a black Hyundai pulled alongside the vehicle and an unknown black male exited the vehicle and took property, according to Takoma Park Police. The suspect then fled southbound on New Hampshire Avenue.

Since Jan. 31 there have been eleven incidents at two gas stations on New Hampshire Avenue on the border of Takoma Park. There were eight theft from autos, three auto thefts and one commercial armed robbery. Takoma Park Police have charged four suspects involved in several of those incidents at both the Sunoco in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue and the W Express on New Hampshire Avenue.
