Takoma Park Police are searching for three men who attempted to rob a man Wednesday evening in the 6400 block of 4th Avenue.
Around 7:28 p.m. on Mar. 21, a man walking down 4th Avenue noticed a gray sedan following him, police said. Two suspects got out of the car and demanded property. Then the suspects assaulted the victim while trying to forcibly remove property from him, according to police.
The victim flagged down a vehicle passing by and the suspects returned to their car and headed toward Eastern Avenue. The victim did not suffer any major physical injuries, police said.
The suspects are described as:
- Black male, 16-18 years old, approximately 6-feet, thin build, short hair with twists, last seen wearing a blue Nike coat and dark blue skinny jeans.
- Black male, 16-18 years old, approximately 5-foot-3, thin build, short hair with twists, last seen wearing a red track coat and dark blue skinny jeans.
- Black female, light complexion.
Suspect Vehicle: Gray 4-door Sedan, possibly a Toyota
