Man Arrested for Burglarizing Takoma Park Cars

The man was arrested Tuesday.

Takoma Park Police arrested a Washington, DC, man Tuesday for allegedly stealing from a car in Takoma Park.

Police responded to the 6400 block of 5th Avenue in Takoma Park for reports of a theft from auto in progress.

Officers found Darryl Bouvier Williams, who matched the description given of the suspect. An investigation revealed that Williams allegedly was involved in several thefts from autos. Williams' backpack contained property identified by various victims, police said.

Williams was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central
Processing Unit, where he was charged.
