Girl Struck By Car on Maple In Good Condition at Children's Hospital

The drive was not speeding and was not charged.

A 14-year-old girl was struck by a car on Maple Avenue near Sherman Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night, Takoma Park Police said.

The girl was taken to Children's Hospital but was in good condition and did not appear to have any major injuries or broken bones, police said.

The male driver of the vehicle was not speeding and charges have not been filed, police said.
