Pretend Mayhem Hits Takoma Park Wednesday - It's Only a Test
The emergency response exercise will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Takoma Park residents might see increased police and fire activity Wednesday, but fear not, it's only a drill.
The Takoma Park Police Department, Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department and Montgomery County Fire Department along with Washington Adventist Hospital and Washington Adventist University will be participating in an emergency management exercise on Aug. 1.
Actors will also be in make-up to simulate injuries to make sure local agencies are prepared to take action in the case of an actual emergency situation.

The exercise will not affect normal police and fire operations or patient care at the hospital.
