D.C. Man Sentenced to 90 Years for Rape of Montgomery College Student

A Washington, D.C., man was sentenced to Friday morning to 90 years in jail for raping a 19-year-old Montgomery College student in January of 2010, the Gazette reported.

The earliest Nathaniel L. Hart could receive probation is 2055, but that depends on good behavior and time served.

The rape happened around 3:30 p.m. in a women's restroom at the campus performing arts center, the Gazette reported. Hart said he had a gun and crawled under a locked stall. He then raped the victim twice and fled into Silver Spring. He was arrested five hours later at a Days Inn on 16th Street.
