Craigslist Deal Turns Into Robbery in Takoma Park
Police said the victim was pushed to the ground and the suspect fled.
A Craigslist deal went very wrong in Takoma Park on Tuesday.
Around 11:45 a.m., Takoma Park police officers responded to the 1300 block of University Boulevard for reports of a strong-arm robbery, a police report stated.

Police said the victim met with the seller and gave him money for an item. The seller then grabbed the item back, pushed the victim and fled on foot toward southbound New Hampshire Avenue.
Police are still trying to identify the seller. Anyone with information about this crime should call 301.270.1100 and refer to case number #12033505.
