Check Cash Hit With Armed Robbery

Police are looking for two suspects.

Takoma Park Police responded to a report of armed robbery Monday afternoon in the 6900 block of New Hampshire Ave., police said. 

Two suspects entered the Check Cash pretending to be customers around 1 p.m. One suspect took out a black, semi-automatic handgun and demanded money
from an employee, police said.  

Money was taken and the employee was pepper sprayed.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1:  Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5, thin
build, last seen wearing a black hoodie, light blue jeans with holes in
both knees, black & white converse Chuck Taylor converse sneakers.  He
was armed with pepper spray.

Suspect #2:  Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-3  to 5-foot-5, heavy
build, last seen wearing a blue/orange baseball cap, dark blue sweat
shirt, blue jeans, and black/white converse Chuck Taylor converse
sneakers.  He was armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun.
