Car Burglarized at New Hampshire Ave Gas Station

The theft from auto happened Thursday morning.

Takoma Park Police are searching for a light green four-door Toyota that was used to burglarize a car at the Sunoco Gas station in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue Thursday.

Around 9:35 a.m. on Nov. 17 the victim pulled up to the gas station and exited the car to pump gas. A Toyota with a large dent in the right front fender pulled up next to her car and the driver of the Toyota got out and entered the passenger's side of the victim's vehicle, stealing property out of it, police said.

The suspect vehicle was last seen on video surveillance exiting the gas station heading south toward D.C., police said. The vehicle had a rear temporary tag of an unknown state.
