Arrest Made in Up-skirt Peeper Case

Police say there are other possible victims and some may be minors.

A Silver Spring man has been charged in a scheme to shoot videos angled under the skirts of several Takoma Park women without their knowledge, according to Takoma Park Police.

Tapha Masai Nyang, 26, was arrested after Takoma Park Police received a call in reference to a suspicious male carrying a black backpack and asking questions about directions to College Park, police said.

The suspect's description matched those of previous calls about a man videotaping under the skirts of women. The man was found by police at the Takoma Metro Station bus stop and one of the victims identified Nyang as the person who approached her and tried to videotape her.
