Stolen Vehicle Sighted on Pennsylvania Turnpike

The Black Acura was last seen exiting the turnpike, outside of Pittsburgh, at 12:54 p.m. on Saturday.

A 2003 black Acura was stolen from a parking lot on the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday, according to Takoma Park Police.

At 12:54 p.m., the vehicle (license tag MD 8AC4689) was seen exiting the Pennsylvania Turnpike just outside of Pittsburgh by a toll booth operator, police said. Pennsylvania State Police alerted the surrounding counties to the stolen vehicle.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male with a thin build, short black hair, and a mustache, police said.

The vehicle has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) stolen vehicle database. A statewide lookout has been issued by the Takoma Park Police Department.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Takoma Park Police at 301.270.1100. The investigation continues under case No. 11051229.
