Taxes are due Tuesday, which can be stressful. To ease the pain, area businesses are offering perks, from free cookies to shredding. Here's where to find them:

Arby's—Get a free snack-sized order of curly fries at Arby's with this coupon. Find locations here.
Boston Market—For dealing with the "1040" form on tax day, get two half-chicken meals (including two sides apiece) for $10.40. No coupon required. Find locations.
Great American Cookies—Free cookies are available Tuesday at Great American Cookies in the Columbia mall on Tuesday. No purchase is necessary.
Hard Rock Cafe—Up to 30 people can register for a chance to win a free entree when they sing for their supper at the Inner Harbor in a competition from 5 to 7 p.m. Get details.

Gyms that have HydroMassage beds may offer free massages until April 18. Check with individual locations about the deal.

Haven't filed your taxes yet? You're not alone! According to The Baltimore Sun, nearly one-third of Marylanders had not filed yet as of Monday.

Feels like these private businesses offer me more on tax day than the services I get from our worthless federal, state and local governments that actually take my tax money (at gunpoint, to boot).
