Homeowners in Maryland Focus on Appearance and Comfort in Bathroom and Kitchen Remodels

Remodeling bathrooms or a kitchen is a popular way to improve a home's appearance and bring greater comfort to these well-used spaces.

When homeowners in Maryland want to remodel, many seek to remodel their bathroom(s) or kitchens to improve its appearance and bring greater comfort to these well-used spaces in their homes.

In remodeled bathrooms, homeowners seek to enjoy a spa-like experience; they want to create a retreat from the hectic world of work, high social and family demands and constant electronic communication. They seek comfort in a space that allows them to pamper themselves and care for their health and well-being; they remodel to add pleasure to their lives and greater functionality to their homes.

In remodeled kitchens, homeowners also seek greater comfort and an improved appearance in what’s considered the “new living room” and the “multi-purpose hub of the home.” Click here to watch a short video news clip on how the “Kitchen Becomes the New Living Room” from The Wall Street Journal’s website.

Additionally, it’s no surprise that a recent study posted on a blog by the National Association of Home Builders, showed that 78% of remodelers reported the most common renovation project was bathrooms and 69% saw kitchens kitchens as the most popular. Our numbers tell the same story: many of our clients come to us to revitalize and transform their bathrooms and kitchens and bring beauty and comfort to their homes.
