Grab & Go Kids Planner: March 3 through March 9

It's Wednesday, and that means it's time to check out our Grab & Go Kids Planner to see what Takoma Park has to offer kids and families this week. We're almost at the end of winter — finally! — so there's still lots to do indoors. This week, Takoma Park Library hosts a variety of events parents and kids will enjoy. Your family will also enjoy some great events that aren't too far away, including a favorite semi-annual consignment sale.

Here's what's going on that you might want to check out:

• CIRCLE TIMES
Where/When:  is at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, and  is at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Both of these fun events are hosted at .
Why Go: Get the whole family involved in a community event, get exposed to another language and just plain have fun. You can go to either or both of these Circle Times.

• MONTGOMERY COUNTY PARENTS OF MULTIPLES SEMI-ANNUAL
Where/When: The bargains will be at Roberto Clemente Middle School in Germantown on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: There's nothing better than finding clothes for the kids at a great price. You'll get to choose from a variety of kids' items without breaking the budget.

• MADAMA BUTTERFLY
Where/When:  on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: Kids and parents can learn about opera and Japanese culture at this performance of . There will be plenty of interactive and exciting moments for all.

Where/When: Takoma Park D.C. Neighborhood Library hosts this event on Monday at 11:30 a.m.
Why Go: Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, can watch their favorite books come to life.

Why Go: Moms and dads of newborns, 0 t0 4 months, can find support and friends, and you can bring your baby with you.
